The Mansion House

Construction of Ca Na Xini was begun at the end of 1919 by Fernando Vives Escudero. After his death in 1947, his widow Virginia López, or Xini, as she was also called in Ferreries, unsuccessfully tried to preserve the place’s charm. The years of hardship that followed culminated in the death of Xini and dereliction of the house.

In 2005, work was begun on rebuilding the ruined house to start a new life in rural tourism.

In the interior design of Ca Na Xini, it was decided to use contrasting forms and materials with the natural surroundings, much more organic, with unconstrained forms. With minimalism as the common factor, the house’s interior and its eight bedrooms breathe modernity, comfort and simplicity of form. Everything, from the tables to the sanitaryware, has been designed by our family to create a highly personal, distinctive and inimitable atmosphere.
